Battery
replacement should be performed every two years or more often
depending on the dive activity. Some lithium batteries may run
out unexpectedly, which cannot be tested in advance.
The life expectancy of a normal full battery at 20°C (68°F) is the following: 100 - 200 dives/year -> 2 years 200 - 400 dives/year -> 1 year
All computers are given new O-rings and are pressure tested before being returned to the customer. Don't forget, we can also pressure test your underwater camera housing.
Pressure Testing
We are able to replace the battery and pressure test the unit for most makes of dive computer and many watches using only genuine replacement parts. In the event we are unable to replace the battery, we are happy to act as agents and send it off to the relevant manufacturer on your behalf. In addition, some manufacturers now offer a discount on a new computer if you are looking to upgrade, as long as you return the old one to them.
Gauge Calibration
It is advisable to have your gauges checked every 6 months to check they are correctly calibrated. Dive centres are required to do this annually in Spain. We can recalibrate your gauges for you. Please contact us directly for more information.
